David Trewin is Senior Manager Sustainable Business at the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage. David’s team is responsible for establishing ‘partnerships for sustainability’ where organisations of all sizes are supported in their efforts to improve environmental performance in a way that adds business value. Over the last 5 years David’s Business Partnerships team has worked with almost 18,500 businesses and helped them achieve ongoing savings of $97 million a year. Shirley Snoyman, Head of Operational Risk, Investec Bank (Australia) Limited. Shirley has over 20 years’ experience in the investment banking industry, both in South Africa and Australia, and has worked across a number of areas, including trading, systems, operations and operational risk. Before joining Investec Bank in 1993, Shirley spent four years teaching four-unit mathematics.Shirley has an Honours degree in Mathematics and a teaching degree. Her passion for education was the driver for her involvement in Investec’s membership of the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN). She has been involved in ABCN’s Partners in Learning program for the past five years as a mentor to the principal and assistant principal of Villawood North Primary School. |
