The relationship between Investec and Villawood North Public School started with Investec’s ABCN membership in the Partners in Learning program. This program links business and educational professionals in sharing experiences, solving problems and challenges together. It provides a unique opportunity to make a difference, not only to the individual partners, but also to the schools and businesses involved. When responsibility for children’s learning is shared by the school, the parents and the community, children have more opportunities for meaningful, engaged learning. Students are able to see the connection between what they learn in school and the skills required for the real world.
