Ancient wisdom in today’s business world

Our theme for the year is personal and professional development – what is it that enables us to be wiser and more effective in organisations? For the April Café we are interested in the relevance of the ancient wisdoms to life and work today.

In our Spirituality, Leadership and Management community there are people who take inspiration from different spiritual traditions. In the April Café we bring some of these people together to discuss what they find in these traditions that is relevant, resonant, anchoring and helpful in their life and work today. We will have four panellists:

  • Neerja Ahuja – the Indian holistic medicinal approach called Ayurveda
  • Dean Collier – the insights of metaphysical traditions on the nature of human essence
  • Susan Goff – re-learning indigenous connections with Country in cross-cultural relationships
  • Donald Marmara – The Circle of Life: Learning from the Native American Medicine Wheel

The venue and format will be similar to what we currently do – we meet on a Saturday afternoon at the Stanton Library, North Sydney. We hope to see you there.
