Submissions closed on Monday 27 April.
We build on the SLaM traditions of respecting and serving the expertise that founds and develops the Spirituality, Leadership and Management field.
In recognition of your expertise, we invite you to submit a proposal for a workshop in the conference Programmed Strand, which will comprise five in-depth, participatory workshops.
Guidelines for Submissions
We request that the file containing your submission is presented without mention of your personal details, to ensure blind peer review. Provide your biography separately by email as detailed below.
We are accepting submissions through the website Easy Chair. When you go the site you will be asked to provide details about yourself, including:
- Your name and contact details.
You should have your submission ready as an attachment as follows (in pdf format):
File name = Proposal title
Maximum of 500 words
- Your workshop should address a question you are facing about mindfulness that takes you to your learning edge in your practices of spirituality in leadership and management.
- Give an outline of the approach you will use to engage delegates in exploring this question with you for 70 minutes.
Please send your biography and affiliations separately by email to Helena Read, Conference Manager, at events@mmnet.com.au (Format: 2-page pdf file: page 1 states your name and title of your submission; page 2 gives your biography and affiliations).
The Programmed Strand is highly selective – only five submissions can be accepted.
If your contribution is not selected for the Programmed Strand, the peer review may recommend you to contribute it to the Open Space strand.
Successful contributors to the Programmed Strand will be recognised for their commitment to the conference by being offered a 40% discount off the full registration rate, if registering before 19th June.
