In this workshop participants will playfully explore the field of leadership and followship, experiencing being both leaders and being followers. It is intended that the active, embodied experience interspersed with reflective noticing and conversational exchange will enable new discoveries to emerge. Deborah Lange, Award Winning Mentor, Best Selling Co-Author and Lifelong Educator, is dedicated to understanding how to facilitate human potential and co-create cultures where people thrive. Her passion has taken her to all corners of the globe to learn from both ancient and new wisdom. She has had her body painted by the Himba people in Namibia; connected with nature with the bush men in the Kalahari; danced with street kids in Soweto to say “no” to sexual abuse; was inspired by world class violinists and artists in Slovenia; walked a song line in Australia with Indigenous people; whispered with horses in Colorado and so much more. She speaks, mentors and facilitates on topics such as, Embodied Leadership, Leadership and Followship, Integrating Logic and Intuition, Play as a method to discover new wisdom, Trusting Your Body and cultures where people thrive. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Ecology, Business Degrees in Human Resource Development and Graduate Diplomas in Education, Learning, the Arts and Language. |

Colin Pitson is a life member and founder of SLaM, he was the inaugural Director of the National Film and Sound Archive. Colin is now an internationally accredited Master Executive Coach (ICF MCC) whose focus has been on working with budding leaders in both the public and private sector; not just grooming them for higher office where they need to work effectively with an increasing diverse range of stakeholders, but to survive the inevitable pressures and thrive personally. His passion and purpose has been to partner with his clients in maximising their innate creativity and potential as leaders, and to contribute to minimising the human tragedy of burnout and bullying in the workplace. As a solid theoretical basis for the work he now does, Colin supplemented his earlier academic qualifications in electrical engineering and Post Diploma in Industrial Management, with formal studies in depth psychology. In 2001, he graduated with a Master of Arts in Cultural Psychology with Distinction (from University of Western Sydney – with majors in Jungian studies and Chaos and Complexity); and a Diploma of Adult Psychotherapy (ANZAP); plus six-years of training towards becoming a Jungian Analyst (ANZSJA). He also has formal training in executive coaching and coach supervision, the field he has specialised in for the past 16 years. |

![]() Joseph believes we are all connected in consciousness at varying stages of development on a continuum from Physical, Mental (Mascergy) through, Emotional and Spiritual (Femergy). Joseph sees expansion of this consciousness from the Physical to the Spiritual as our human task on Earth.In this workshop Joseph will briefly explain the theory and then enlist participants, through a series of creative exercises, to connect with their authentic/congruent Self – utilising journey mapping, purpose mapping and art therapy processes to tap into the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies that enable us to take our authentic self to work. This workshop is a pause to reflect in a journey that we are all on. The workshop is an open, evolving process that can be further discussed, explored and developed over the 2 days of the conference and beyond.Joseph Loewy is Founder and Director of RedStallion Strategic Planning & Visual Consulting. He started as an illustrator in Melbourne, and has held a variety of positions in the creative area – from illustrator to National Creative Director for H&T Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Creative Group Head for Harris, Robinson, Courtenay Advertising, Sydney and Associate Creative Director, Sudler & Hennessey International. It was in his Senior Management roles that Joseph really had the opportunity to develop his strategic and leadership skills. He turned his creativity to working with individuals and teams to develop innovative solutions for organisations. In his career Joseph has also facilitated groups in strategy and visioning, team building, communication and negotiation training, creative arts, performance management. Joseph now works over 3 continents helping leaders develop ‘Journey Maps’ to engage their people in the Organisation’s journey. |
